Water Pressure – Student ROV – Hydrography
Hydrographic surveying is booming, but the profession faces a challenge in attracting young people to enter the field. As part of our ongoing education outreach for the geospatial professions, we present: Water Pressure an xyHt documentary featuring AMNO&CO, a Seattle underwater robotics team and their participation in the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) robotics competition. Two high school aged siblings and their friend have been working together for years – developing underwater robots (ROV) – from scratch – increasing in sophistication.
