Internationally recognized for its ultimate high-performance lidar 3D scanning equipment and data processing software, RIEGL USA has relocated to a new state-of-the-art North American headquarters in Winter Garden, Florida.

The investment was made possible by the continued success and growth of RIEGL in North America, the excellent and determined teamwork of the RIEGL USA team, and by the strong confidence that the RIEGL headquarters in Austria is placing in the North American market.

RIEGL USA’s new 18,500-square-foot facility is located on approximately 19 acres on West Colonial Drive in Winter Garden, a charming city about 20 miles west of Orlando.

The building to which Riegl USA has relocated is designed with future growth in mind. This multi-million-dollar headquarters and training facility features modern training rooms and service areas, including climate chambers and laser test ranges for equipment testing and calibration, a customer support center, a distribution hub, and sales and administration offices.

All that comes along with generous staff areas, including a gym, collaboration areas, and outdoor work and relaxation space.

“Over the last couple of years, we have continuously grown our business here in North America and this new facility resembles that continued growth,” said RIEGL USA president, Johannes Riegl, Jr. “The support of our headquarters in Austria has been critical to the development of this amazing building we are now in.”

Customers and integrators will be able to stop by at the new facility using a helicopter-landing pad, which will become operational in early 2021.

Due to current COVID-19 travel restrictions, the official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place in 2021 after restrictions are lifted.  

The new facility has been constructed by nationally renowned DPR Construction company. DPR has utilized RIEGL lidar terrestrial scanners and UAV-based technologies throughout the construction process to document and monitor the progress of the construction.
